About Savary Island


Savary Island is about 200 km North-West of Vancouver, up the Sunshine Coast by car or up the Georgia straight by boat or plane.

The island is about 5 miles long and half a mile wide, surrounded by beaches with panoramic ocean and mountain views.

How to Get Here

Car

Drive to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal

Take the Horsehoe Bay - Langdale ferry

Drive to Earl's Cove and take the ferry to Saltery Bay (free)

Drive through Powell River, where you can buy any groceries, beverages, toys, etc.,


Drive to Lund, where you can choose from either the Lund Water Taxi or Savary Island Ferry and Barge

to get onto the island by boat.

Parking available at both locations.
